im flying back to california today! one of my best friends is picking me up at the airport and my boyfriend is meeting me like an hour later. im so excited! i think we're gonna see an imax and spend a day in the park with a bunch of people. i cant wait!

high school

when i was in high school i wore a uniform every day, crazy right? skirt, polo, black/white/navy socks that covered your ankle, and only black shoes (as a senior i got privileges: free dress on thursday and WHITE SHOES, if we so pleased. what a luxury, right?). While I dont regret my high school having a uniform, I cant help but be reminded of it every once in a while. This picture does just that. The only way the girls (all girls high school, i forgot to mention that bit...) could express themselves was through accessories...tights, earrings, hair clips, whatever. The most elite wore LV socks and carried LV backpacks, and I couldnt help having a flashback when i saw this....
