This has been me the past few days, except in Paris not New York. About to go out to a park with drinks and french and american and puerto rican friends.
I know I've been bad at this lately and I'm in some kind of weird jet lag funky parisian time warp, but guys, it's so great here. Such a magical place! Even though it's been a heat wave for the past two days. The style is way different here, I'm working up the courage to take some streetstyle shots. For now I'm inspired by technicolor dressing and braids.
Officially made it to Paris! Exhausted and smelly from excessive air travel (sorry if that's tmi), but in one piece. I love it! But I'm tired! And I want to bleach my hair peroxide. And I love this.
And so my adventures begin. This blog is gonna be shaken up a little bit and definitely will become a little more irregular, but I'll still be here. Pepper and Chips in Paris! Planning on keeping things simple and (hopefully) chic, so I'm staying inspired by the basics.
Here's a few more seasonally inappropriate outfits that I can't help but be attracted to anyway. I think there are ways to take these and some how infuse them with summer.
Would have been obsessed with either of these outfits on their own so seeing them next to each other, on two STUNNING twins just makes it the ultimate.
When I think of Olivier Theyskens I think of the incredible (but also extreeeemly elegant) dresses he made for Nina Ricci--that was my introduction to him. When I saw these looks for Theyskens Theory resort my jaw dropped. Wearable, simple, and easy. I guess I should have known.
I can't help but gravitate towards Sky Ferreira, she's not only stunning in a quirky way, but I love how she dresses. Even if I haven't heard any of her music ha.
Went to see Matt and Kim tonight and it was incredible. I love them so much. Home now with my sister Mae (that's her and my cat in the first picture) (check out her tumblr here!) listening to music and happy, one of the best nights I've had in a while! [Sorry if this post is incoherent a little bit, it's kind of off the cuff and less thought out than usual but...whatever, why not?]
Breakfast with mom, massages, movies in bed, stillll being obsessed with the Celine Boston bag, and the Prada stoles, AND the Balenciaga boots--that second picture is almost overload. Sorry if I've been posting fewer editorials lately, I've been finding lots of single images that I've liked a lot and have been figuring out ways to post them in an editorial-esque manner. But I guess I should ask you guys, do you like pepperandchips lately? Should I change anything? Keep it the same? More/less of something? Let me know. Love you guys.
I was just talking to my bff Jenna the other day (yesterday?) about how weird it is that black and navy used to be taboo. It's pretty much my favorite color combination. This sartorialist photo solidifies that.
Another food combination, I guess considering my blogs name that's kind of appropriate. I'm in a good mood because my friends are here from out of town and I get to have breakfast with them before sending them off on their own day of adventures--and am also hungry, hence the milk and cherries. Sounds like an oddly good combination.
Such a beautiful girl/editorial. I don't want to forget about my readers on the other hemisphere, how amazing is that jacket in the first shot? I think I'm much more partial to winter/fall dressing which is why I'll probably continue to post things like this all through summer.
Citrus fruit and arm band tattoos. Two things I'm thinking about today. I leave for France pretty soon and am starting to stress a little bit but have been kind of distracting myself with little pretty things like this.
Still love these pictures so much from an recent issue of Vogue China (not sure which?). I love how it's just wet hair and a white tanktop and still so beautiful.
1. Had sushi for lunch with my boyfriend yesterday and it was the best sushi I've had in months, had to take a picture and share. 2. I need a new pair of sunglasses. I lost mine at the beach last summer and now that it's summer again...it's time. Any recommendations? I like em simple.
God I love the idea of having hair this color--I know there's a lot of upkeep and things but I mean damn. Hers is pretty awesome. And so is that last t-shirt ('I'm in a terrible fucking mood today')..keeping it real.
