It's Halloween, happy celebrating to all of you who do! As for me I'm debating whether or not to put my costume on again since I celebrated during the last couple of days, sharing a bottle of organic wine with my bf, and lusting over this new girl Waleria.
Pretty girls in pretty clothes in pretty fields. One of the things I seem to gravitate towards often. Also I saw In Time tonight. It was okay, but something in me just isn't fully ready to take JT completely seriously...
Not only do I love the name Elouise, I love me a smiling model--and she's gorgeous! Spending the day reading writing and recovering from halloween festivities, happy sunday!
Keeping my posts somewhat witchy for the Halloween weekend, even though my celebrations have pretty much come to a close. Good news is, there was a disposable camera involved so I'll post some of the goods when I get the film developed.
I know a lot of you aren't American and therefore don't celebrate Halloween, but this weekend is a big one for us. I'm not going out asking for candy, but there ARE a lot of costume parties this weekend (I'm being Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh). These photos felt appropriately witchy and somewhat dark to go with Halloween vibes.
I stupidly forgot to write down who makes these clothes, but either way..this is how I would like to dress every single day, in some variation. I just can't get over how amazing all of it is! ETA:Ah! Figured it out. The brand is called Scotch and Soda and it's from Amsterdam. Makes me love it even more.
I'm up earlier than my love today (as usual) and am spending my morning buying way too much from the F21 website, making chocolate croissants, and lusting over the super-talented Sharon Gong and her photos.
What a showstopper. I always wonder what it must be like to actually be at the fashion weeks and see the throngs of well dressed people all half hoping to be photographed. Eva (I think that's her name right?) has been on the Sartorialist a bunch of times, so I guess she's just used to it. Such a good dress.
I'm not usually so into Dolce&Gabbana (at least for me) but the styling in this editorial is changing my mind. Looking back on my last few posts I feel like I've kind of been on a very specific kick--tons of prints, tons of colors, and that semi-off look that I like in just about anything. As for the post title..I just think it sounds better in French.
She's almost too good. Or I guess, she's just a perfect match for this kind of off-the-cuff style editorial. Sometimes there's nothing better than a good strong flash.
Ahh so in love with these models and this entire thing in general from Glamour Netherlands. This reminds me of some crazy post apocalyptic movie that would win the Oscar for best costumes.
That first dress, especially. I love the weekends (who doesn't), taking advantage of mine by finishing my book (finally reading The Dharma Bums) and enjoying the beautiful days before it gets too cold outside.
These pictures remind me of Santa Cruz which I like a lot because I live here and I'm all about being in the woods. Loving the preppy knits and thigh highs, perfect for fall! It's overcast today (which I also love)--gonna try out new games on the Xbox and watch some Arrested Development.
