These aren't of the songstress that you may be thinking of, but nevertheless they're beautiful shots, and I'm definitely going to check out more of Harley Weir's photography after seeing these! This girls' amazing blue eyes and textured, beautiful dresses perfectly capture the sort of slow-day happiness that I've been living lately.
Jayne from Stop It Right Now is one of my top 5 favorite bloggers ever. Kinda snarky, really chic--if you don't read Stop It Right Now check it out Here!
These Prada platforms may have faded from fashion's general memory, but not from mine! I especially love the way this lady pulls them off with her pixie cut and perfect blazer.
Spending the day with a latte and my books for school, appreciating that simple outfit up top and, because I'm some sort of magpie, those amazing sparkling bottoms.
Lindsey Wixson for Muse magazine I totally rejected Lindsey Wixson when she first came on the scene, that pout of hers was just too much for me to handle! I've completely changed my ideas of her though, I realized she pulls it off so well and there's something graceful and swanlike about the rest of her. These shots for Muse are totally killing it.
With her plastic makeup, big hair, and creepers I can't help but see this as some sort of rockabilly barbie. Frida, of course, manages in a weird way to pull it off, I just want to get some makeup remover!
I love me a girl working the basics--no matter what crazy trends I find myself getting into, I always return to a variation of this look--great jeans, sneakers, a simple tee, and a good sweater or jacket.
Querelle Jansen for Exit Magazine I like this idea of pixels on pixels. Playing with the way we already look at so many editorials and images in general and making us remember the medium through which we view them. Or maybe they just wanted to mess with us.
