Allison Watkins

I just found out this morning about Allison Watkins, a California based artist who draws and embroiders her own clothing from photographs. Not only are these artworks stunning and visually stimulating, I can't help but wonder about these clothes--all of which are bright, patterned, textured, and...so cool looking. In an interview on needsupply.com, Allison mentioned she's now branching out to other people's closets and is working on one full of menswear. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted!

No not that kind of kid acne--Kid Acne is a graffiti artist who contributed his drawings to this Elle Belgium shoot, and I'm not sure I could love it any more than I do. Sorry I've been kind of MIA this weekend, it's been a little nuts with my roommates out of town and my mom visiting me as well. I'm ready to start another school week, for some reason my weeks have been flying by lately, and I have the day off on wednesday so booyah!

I found these beautiful drawings over at raquelissima and about exploded with happiness. I think they're so whimsical and amazing, and she's done drawings for Rolling Stone and Nylon as well as a lot of alternative magazines, i love her!
