I know fashion week pictures are pretty ubiquitous right about now, but I figured since I'm so far behind I might as well post one or two favorites. I'm challenging myself to keep it to 2 looks from the show, and for now, these are my favorites from Matthew Williamson. It takes me about the entire show season to digest and appreciate one weeks worth of clothes so while I'm behind..I guess I'll get there eventually.

Pretty sure these are my two favorite looks from the AMAZING Rodarte collection that showed recently (don't ask me how recently...you may have noticed that this is my first post on fashion week and that is partly because 1)everyone else covers it already and 2) I have about a million things for school I need to do before I can spend hours clicking away on style.com, I'm trying to keep my focus!. Anyway, I don't even know who this prairie girl is yet, but I want to figure her out and get to know her.

Backstage at Jason Wu. The girls look great, these photos really 'get' the backstage moment for me--although I'm sure I can't imagine what it's ACTUALLY like. Shots like these will have to do for now. Off to make dinner and watch a movie for my film class called On the Waterfront. Anyone seen it?

familiarizing

I love seeing big portions of a single collection styled and themed for a magazine. I don't know what it is, but something about seeing the clothes all together this way and with such perfect backgrounds makes me like them even more. You'll also probably recognize that first picture (or at least the abbey bit of it)...which one's your favorite?
