The song Parisian Goldfish by Flying Lotus is my go-to iPod choice these days...anyway, here's what I wore at the park earlier. I work all night but it's okay because I got to spend time outdoors, even though my sister (and lovely photographer) and I had to keep going back and forth between sunny and shady spots because we would get too hot and then too cold.
Just got back from Charlie St. Cloud (don't judge) and it was nice if for nothing else than the eye candy, ha. Good but nothing crazy, you know? Anyway, I'm obsessed with the oddly large jewelry in this editorial..is that a face on that necklace?
I guess the fall transition posts have to start coming at some point...I love the idea of layering a bright summer shirt with a longer sleeved one for when the temperatures start to drop.
Found these pictures and they just scream summer day. I'm DYING over that leopard bag, the vintage looking dresses, and the sun halos around these pretty ladies.
I don't want to be misusing words around here, would you guys agree with me in calling this rockabilly? This whole 50s/punk/country thing seems so fresh compared to a lot of other stuff that's going on right now, I'm feeling inspired. I saw a family at work the other day channeling this same sort of vibe and I literally couldn't stop staring.
I love how there's such a story in these. I feel like an entire movie could be based off of these 4 photos! (maybe that's just me..) Got birthdays to celebrate today, and yummy yummy food to be eaten. Hope your tuesdays are looking up!
I feel bad just waxing on about all the things that I want, but I mean come on, a button down with no buttons!? I hate when the buttons gap and you catch a peek of the bra..so to me, this shirt is now a necessity.
Hmm so I don't want to sound like a broken record, but i love this. I guess I love all the stuff I post here ha. Thanks for all your sweet comments on my outfit post, I'll definitely make an effort to do it a bit more often. Once a week or so :]
I know this isn't really what I do here, but I decided to do an outfit post today because I liked what I was wearing and why not? Ran errands all day (and scored a pair of jeans in the process) and had a mid-afternoon picnic with my mom. Off to see a friend and relaaaaax. Also, I wanted to show you guys some of my new bling:
The rings are all vintage except for the black one which I found in a random shop in San Diego.
(outfit details:top thrifted, shorts urban, boots urban, bag thrifted--photos all personal)
I love belts. You wouldn't know it--I don't have too many because they're always so damn expensive, but I've recently come to appreciate how much they can do for an outfit. So here's three belt combos I wish I could call my own.
