I really love this feature for UK Instyle's Feb'13 issue. In no particular order, I agree with these looks (and designers) being some of the best of the season. I'm a fan of indie designers too and don't think they should be overlooked but sometimes it's fun to just enjoy the elite. (ph:tfs)

Allison Watkins

I just found out this morning about Allison Watkins, a California based artist who draws and embroiders her own clothing from photographs. Not only are these artworks stunning and visually stimulating, I can't help but wonder about these clothes--all of which are bright, patterned, textured, and...so cool looking. In an interview on needsupply.com, Allison mentioned she's now branching out to other people's closets and is working on one full of menswear. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted!
