1) Tell us something you think we should know about you
I am a very laid back person and can get along with almost any person. I am usually shy at first, but I open up really quickly. A perfect day for me would just be hanging out with my friends, watching a movie, and eating good food over nice talk. I love to laugh and love to make jokes. I am always open to trying new things and I try to think optimistically everyday. I am always excited about the future.

2) If you could steal the costumes from any movie, what would it be?
Gosh, this is a hard one. Like really hard. I am trying to rattle my brain right now. I loved Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina. I coveted every look she wore in this movie. Classic, so beautifully tailored, so Parisian. It was so classy. I wanted it all!

3) What was your favorite outfit as a little kid?
When I was little, I always loved little floral dresses. I still love them. I always chose my outfits when I was little, and anything with ruffles and puffs were amazing. I always wore white ankle socks with mary-janes. Plus I loved a denim jacket over it. I still wear this today!

4) A lot of your outfits have a masculine influence, what inspires you every morning? When I wake up, the sunlight outside and the beautiful day inspire me to get dressed. If I stay in pajamas in the morning I get lazy, so I like to get ready so I can do things. I always think about shape and texture, and nice colors to put together. I don';t think too hard about it. I just grab what I think is nice. The door to closet is covered with a collage of my favorite editorials, fashions, advertisements, etc. So I am instantly inspired before I even reach my clothes!

5) What's your favorite place to be in the world?

My favorite place in the world would probably be my house. It's a beautiful Victorian-remake and is so cozy. I love taking outfit pics around my house. But I also love Santa Monica, right by the ocean. The city is always buzzing with life, and the weather is perfect. But I also love Hawaii. So relaxing and that tropical weather is just magical. I want to travel more, so maybe next time I will have a new favorite place in the world!

6) What's one article of clothing that you are currently dreaming about?
I am dreaming about the structured leather jackets at Blamain. So classic. I love masculine pieces that make strong statements, and a leather jacket can be worn with anything. I really need a new leather jacket like this. I wonder where I can find one for a more realistic price?

7) What inspires you to start your blog? Do you ever feel pressures to keep it up when you're uninspired? I first started blogging about 1.5 years ago. I was basically inspired by magazine writing and features I read in magazines online. But I found it boring just blogging about fashion news and trends. So I took a break for a while, and then came across some cool fashion outfit blogs like Fashion Toast and such, and thought it would be really fun to do the same, plus showcase anything that inspired me or that I found interesting, like movies and music. I love getting comments and all the support and interest of other bloggers have really motivated me to keep my blog up, and wear cuter outfits. I even feel like a better poser now. I feel that my blog has helped me pay even more attention to fashion in a good way, and has allowed me to be more creative. It has all been so much fun. I am hardly ever uninspired. If I don't think my outfit is blog-worthy, maybe I will work on a collage or a post on something I do find inspiring or interesting. But I have been inspired everyday lately because of all the other great blogs out there! It's an amazing feeling to know that you are inspiring so many other people who love the same things you do and this is what keeps me going every single day. This fashion blog community is one of the greatest things that I have come across in a long time, and it has really stimulated my interest in fashion to an extrememly high level.

8) If you could trade wardrobes with one blogger, who would it be and why?
I would love to swap wardrobes with Phopshene at www.phosphenefashion.com because she is so amazingly chic. Her simple style is so classic and Parisian. There is not one look on her blog I don't love. She pays attention to tailoring and beautiful, clean lines. I love her refined style. And she does amazing DIY projects that I would love to get my hands on. She was one of the first blogs that I found that inspired me to start blogging again, and I was hooked!

9) What movie is guaranteed to always make you laugh?

The Breakfast Club. I have seen this movie so many times and I still laugh out loud everytime I see it. One of my fave movies of all time.

10) Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years, definitely see myself working in some sort of creative field, whether it be fashion buying or marketing, or commercial advertising. I think I could come up with some really funny commercial ideas. Or maybe even styling. I would love to be a fashion writer and write editorials or blurbs for magazines that I love, or commentating from the runways. That would be my dream job.

11) What 5 things would you bring to a desert island?
I would be bring my sunscreen, my photoalbums, my lip balm (because I cannot stand chapped lips), my favorite book (so I won't get bored), and a super cute dress (because it would be awkward to just go naked), probably floral! haha

12) What are some of your best shopping tips?
Always look for things that you really love. Think about what inspires you, whether it be a movie, a song, anything, and find a piece of clothing that represents this. ALways poay attention to quality. If you will wear the item forever, buy it. Classic and essential pieces are always a must. When I shop, I never have a plan. I am the queen of browsing, but I always find something different or unique, even in the most high shop stores like Forever 21. If there is something that catches your eye, think of ways you can fit it in your own closest in different ways. It will go a long way. And don't be afraid to take risks. If you love it, wear it, no matter what others say. ANd if it's a bargain, then even better!

13) What qualities do you look for most in a friend?

I look for kindness, a warm heart, someone I can trust, and someone I feel really comfortable spilling my secrets to. A good listener is great because if you listen to a friend, you expect the friend to be willing to hear you out to when you need a good sob session. My friends don't usually share my interest in fashion, but we always have everything else in common like music and just a positive outlook on life. I like a person that doesn't take life to seriously and always sees the best in people. The best thing about friendships is laughter and enjoying each other's company no matter what you guys are doing. I remember so many good times with friends when we just laughed over the silliest things. These are the best times!

14) What was your most recent purchase?
I haven't been shopping too much these past few weeks (been busy and trying to save money for holiday shopping), but the latest thing i bought was a black lace to from Forever 21.

15) What was the last dream you had?

I really don't remember. Like I am thinking right now, and I seriosuly don't have a clue. Maybe I was on a romantic date with Ben Barnes or another handsome British actor or something lovely like that.
