i found these pictures on a website that doesn't have a word of english so i have no idea whats going on here. but there's something nice about that element of intrigue, yeah? kind of makes you look st things in a new way.
lucia means "st lucy day" and its celebrated a lot in sweden... they choose a "lucia" to lead the procession because st lucy ended a famine and brought the town food with her saintly magical grace... so they reenact that every year. and the lucia wears all white and red ribbons and a crown with candles on it. and then they party all night long!
and that is the fiercest lucia i have ever seen...
I was going to say it looks like a sorority party but then I see guys in the mix! I agree- looks intriguing!
