It's been an overcast and chilly day today in LA, but I'm still majorly obsessing over this editorial for Elle France. It may not be summer quite yet, but I am so ready.
This is what the 80's would look like if they were still alive today. The modern details within this super-80s editorial for Vogue Germany make this feel current without being over the top cheesy. Plus, Edita is pulling it off perfectly. Fishnets, anyone?
Best crispy clean whites I've seen in a while--plus I'm in love with Edita so having her be the model makes this better x1000. Headed out for a day on Venice Beach, gotta start the fourth Game of Thrones book! Pat on the back to me for making it this far (I'm a nerd, I know.)
I couldn't help but think of Diane Kruger's character in Inglourious Basterds when I saw this editorial. La Kruger is already so chic (as was the character she played) and I feel like she could have worn any of these looks in the film.
This is such a perfect model/photographer combo. Plus the clothes are so luxe, and I love the old abandoned house that makes the clothes look just that much more vibrant.
You see what I mean? How, both of these are completely great even though ashley has on about 40 more pieces of clothing than edita? Haha, I like them both. Sorry if it seems incohesive, it makes sense to me!
