Happy Saturday! Even though I had to work today, I'm finally parked on my couch watching Restaurant Impossible and catching up on blogs (the best way to nurse a hangover). This pretty editorial for Foam Magazine is the perfect feminine pick me up I needed.
Eleonora Baumann is a pastel angel in this editorial for Used S/S'13. Perfectly suited to my mood today--recovering from two days of excessive partying with a movie (Now You See Me--not the best) and a new book (Horns by Joe Hill--so hooked already).
I have a feeling that the Dries Van Noten (featured in that first shot) is going to be EVERYWHERE editorially this season, and I'm not ashamed to say I'm all for it--prepare yourselves. Off to party with my bf for the Superbowl (or should I say Beyonce Bowl?)--have fun and be safe!
I'm kind of digging this whole sporty florals thing--somehow makes workout gear a little more plausible for day (I'm not the type to work out in the morning and then walk around in yoga pants all day). I just got a pair of custom Nike IDs, and am now majorly considering some sort of floral cap. Hmmm, any suggestions?
Even though I'm all about the basics, it looks like this insane over the top floral print mania isn't going away any time soon, and I'm starting to come around...
I've kind of accidentally made Sundays my inspiration post days. Kind of a way to put all the pictures I've been saving throughout the week together. I had a great weekend visiting family and friends in San Diego, then saw the Book of Mormon (for the second time!) at the Pantages in LA today. Feeling refreshed and ready to go back to work tomorrow.
Just a little Saturday inspiration...I think I'm finally gonna see Batman today and maybe play some tennis if it doesn't get too hot--this heat wave is killin me!
I love the idea of wearing the same print head to toe--add a topknot and you can literally go anywhere. These were shot for Vogue Australia, which makes sense since summer is coming up there but who cares! Add some tights and voila.
