Spring Proportions

I'm overwhelmed with goodness. This editorial for Vogue China has me so ready for spring, and since we only have 2 seasons in LA, it's basically summer here already. Bring on the whites, the crops, the wide legs, and the beachy hair. I'm all for it.

Iselin Steiro for New York Times Style Iselin hasn't been on the forefront of the modeling scene but I lovelove this new editorial for the NYT style magazine--especially because that's actually her husband, so great. I know for us northern hemisphere-ers (just go with me) summer is basically here, but I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm a fall/winter girl at heart. The perfect leather pants, mesh overlay, simple gold jewelry. This editorial is everything I'm wanting at the moment--it's been raining for a week straight so while everyone else is enjoying the coming of spring I've just been wearing my easy clothes, and having anything from this editorial would be perfect.

Wow I forgot how much I love Iselin...and all white ensembles. The time change is reminding me that summer is closer than ever and I can't wait to wear shirts with cutouts, crisp button downs, and long beachy hair.

I've always loved this editorial from an older issue of i thiiink i-D magazine, correct me if I'm wrong. Iselin is a stunner, the brocade, the winged eyes, the austerity..I always feel like it's a truly great editorial when it's still inspiring you years later.

Ever since this editorial came out, what? two years ago? I've been kind of obsessed. i love how soft the colors is and it makes me nostalgic for the days of iselin!
